Listed below are the basic requirements that must be met in order for an instructor to be considered for participation in the course.

Official Representative – You must be an instructor at, or the owner of, an established school of martial arts.
Healthy Lifestyle – Due to the incredibly profound influence a martial arts instructor has on his students, beyond the self-defense techniques, you must be committed to living a disciplined, healthy lifestyle.
Physically Fit – Although the techniques of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu do not rely on physical attributes of the practitioner, the rigorous nature of the instructor certification course requires that you be in very good physical condition.
School Requirements
Strong Reputation – The school must be well established in the community and have a reputation for being a professional organization that welcomes all men and women of all ages, athletic abilities, nationalities or creeds.
