The fees for our Self-Defense programs are for tuition only. When visiting the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy, it is a student's responsibility to pay for travel, room, board and meals.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU TO TRAINING IN OUR SPECIAL PROGRAMS

For our Specialized Programs, a Gi (Kimono) is not necessary but you will need gym type clothing to last you for each day of training. For regularly scheduled Gracie Jiu-Jitsu classes, a Gi is recommended. Clean Gi's can be rented for a nominal fee.

• Sweat pants or Gi pants
• Shorts
• T-Shirts
• Sweatshirt
• A lock for your locker (Locks may be purchased for a nominal fee)
• Camera (For the Gracie Museum as well as with the new friends you will make while training.)
• Note: Please do not wear any jewelry during training. Also, have your finger and toe nails trimmed.

• Photo ID is required to prove that you are an active member of a Federal Agency, Law Enforcement Agency, Military Unit, Security Organization or Airline Organization. Reserve or part-time status is considered "active" status.
• Proof must come in the form of official card photo identification. If your photo ID is questionable then your opportunity to train will be rejected. Additional ID may be required in the form of original letterhead/documentation from your organization.
• FFDOs are not required to disclose their FFDO status but must show a Pilot ID.
